MORGANSTOWN VILLAGE HALL WELCOME You can be assured of a friendly welcome whether you come as a new member or simply as a visitor trying out the game for the first time. The only stipulation we make is that you wear shoes with a flat combined sole and heel when playing. Otherwise you will find members willing to lend you their woods - and lots of advice!!
SITUATION OF MORGANSTOWN VILLAGE HALL Approaching from Taffs Well/Pentyrch road past Pughs Garden Centre and the Tynant Inn take the first turn right AFTER the traffic lights. At the top of the hill as you start to turn left keep turning, towards the bungalows, and the hall is on the left.
Coming through Radyr, after passing under the M4 bridge into Morganstown take the third turning left just before the traffic lights, then up the hill as above.
START OF SEASON - Wednesday 17th September 2008
PLAYING SESSIONS - Wednesday afternoon and evening Saturday afternoon and evening
PLAYING TIMES - 2.00 p.m - 6.00 p.m. & 6.00 p.m - 10.00 p.m.
JOINING FEE - £15.00
ANNUAL FEE - £44.00 (or proportionally to the number of seasons weeks remaining)
SESSION FEE - £1.00 - to cover tea, biscuits, and a weekly raffle
VISITORS FEE - £2.50 (this also applies to potential members prior to joining)
APPLICATIONS - Potential members may only attend three sessions prior to making application to join the club.
Applications for membership should be returned to your Sponsor or the person from whom you received it. Alternatively, you may send it direct to the secretary at the address shown above.
